The Mineral Union Project

Topaz from the Thomas Range in Utah
The mineral Union was founded in 2009 by
Joseph Cook in order to form partnerships in the discovery and recovery of new mineral localities. Through A balance of research, exploration, and individual talents we organize trips that bring us into areas that have been overlooked or were simply too difficult to get to. In order to bring new minerals to the market for sale and viewing to you. some of our discoveries include Topaz of the Tarryall, Red Beryl in the Thomas Range (new area), and Flourite-Smokey Quartz from Pikes Peak. Utilizing careful research, and modern mountaineering techniques we will continue to bring minerals to you the consumer along with some really exciting stories. Not just anyone can be A part of the "Union", as the main partners are all exceptional individuals who Have devoted A great deal of their time and energy to make this outfit work. But anyone can keep up with what we are doing on the
Mineral Union Facebook page. We also take A lot of more "Casual" trips that anyone can attend and perhaps at some point become a full member of our Union. You can keep up with these "Open" trips on the Facebook page and we encourage you to as we are always keeping our eyes open for new talent. Thank you for your support And we wish the very best to all our fans. Thanks Joseph.
Why we do this

Climbing in Utah
Although Mineral Union is set up to be a money making business I think we can all agree we would do these sorts of things whether we get paid for them or not. Adventure has always been the main drive of the Union. We are Thrill Seekers who love the Journey as much, if not more than the final destination. Whether on a casual trip to A public collecting area, Helping one of our friends with their mining claims, risking it all on some terrifying mountainside, or just lounging at camp after a hard day of climbing or digging, we are in it for the "Experience". I have collected A great many crystals in my years and not one of them is worth as much as the friends, moments, and memories made along the way. As you go through this site you will of course see the many
Minerals for sale, But you will also notice A extensive
Gallery of some of the places, people, and events that have taken place along the way. I hope you enjoy the photos and feel free to
Contact Mineral Union with your comments, suggestions and insults. Thank You, Joseph
